Feel the speed of summer slow.

In the height of the season, when life can feel full of momentum, give yourself permission to pause. Midsummer Day-Dream is an invitation to step out from momentum to the present moment—a day to soothe your senses, restore your spirit, and reconnect with the quiet wisdom within.

Nestled among the beauty and stillness of Rising Spirit’s cedar forest, we will begin with gentle yoga and mindful movement, allowing the body to soften and the breath to guide us back home to ourselves. A silent walking meditation through the forest will offer an opportunity to practice “forest bathing,” calming our senses to the sights, sounds, scents, and healing energy of nature.

Nourishment continues with a delicious three-course lunch, along with thoughtfully prepared snacks throughout the day.

As the afternoon unfolds, you will have time for leisure in our shiatsu massage chairs, infrared sauna, cold river plunge or just kicking back in the hammocks.  Near the end of the day we will move into a deeply restful practice of yin and restorative yoga, followed by a guided yoga nidra and a mini sound bath journey—an immersive experience of relaxation, reflection, and renewal.

Come as you are. Leave feeling grounded, spacious, and refreshed.

“A passionate and committed student of both Yoga and Ayurveda (ECYT-500), Marci’s offerings include Vinyasa, Chair yoga, Yin, Restorative yoga, Yoga Nidra and Pranayama peppered with influences of Ayurveda and Vedic Astrology. She believes Yoga doesn’t have to be fancy to be meaningful. We can all learn together how to inhabit our bodies with compassion and presence, aging with grace and gratitude. Yoga is so much more than what happens on the mat.”
