About This Day Retreat

Join us for two rejuvenating Ayurvedic cooking classes designed to nourish and balance your body and mind during the Kapha season. As the earth awakens in spring, it’s the perfect time to lighten up, detoxify, and enjoy fresh, vibrant foods that support your energy and well-being.

What to Expect: In these hands-on classes, we’ll focus on foods that are warm and energizing to counterbalance the heavy, damp qualities of the Kapha dosha. Through seasonal ingredients and Ayurvedic cooking principles, we’ll create dishes that will help you feel more invigorated and refreshed.

The experience is not just about cooking; it’s about enjoying the process and the connection in the kitchen. You’ll join a community of like-minded individuals, sharing laughter, learning, and the joy of preparing nourishing meals. After cooking, we’ll gather for a communal dining experience where we can savor the fruits of our labor together.

Week 1:

  • Refesh-o-rama (grapefruit/orange juice)
  • Carrot ginger soup with crispy chick peas
  • Spring frittata
  • Red lentil pate w/ steamed baby carrots & crackers (gf)
  • Blueberry chia seed pudding

Week 2:

  • Refresh-o-rama (grapefruit/orange juice)
  • Ratatouile
  • Braised basil chicken/tofu
  • Raisin pomegranate chutney
  • Ginger lime lassi

Individual classes: $70+hst
